ÖAG Thanksgiving Dinner

Restaurant Brandhof (Gleisdorfergasse 10, 8010 Graz)

We are happy to inform you that we will host a Thanksgiving dinner again this year.

Our annual Thanksgiving dinner will again take place at Restaurant Brandhof (Gleisdorfergasse 10, 8010 Graz) on Thursday, November 28, and we'll start at 6 p.m.

The meal will feature cream of pumpkin soup, some succulent turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and some other goodies as well as dessert. (Note: If you are veg*, please let us know, and we will endeavor to meet your culinary needs!)

Exhibition and Film Screening about Austrian Ski Champions and Refugees as U.S. Mountain Soldiers during World War II and on the Philosophy of Civilian Mountain Rescue in Seattle and Tyrol.

Program:
6 p.m. “Soft Opening” of the poster exhibition.
7 p.m. Presentation of the online portal & Filmscreening “The Volunteers”.

Afterwards, Get-Together with drinks and snacks.

Join us for our ongoing Event, the Socrates Café on the first Wednesday of every month, hosted by Nina Gettlet! The first drink is on us as we dive into thought-provoking discussions in a relaxed, public venue.

Our meeting dates for 2025 are: February 6, March 12 (because March 5 is Ash Wednesday), April 2, May 7, June 5, July 2, August 6, September 3, October 1, November 6, December 3

Exclusive Screening of "20 DAYS IN MARIUPOL"

On September 25, the U.S. Embassy in Vienna, in collaboration with the Austrian-American Society (ÖAG) Styria, hosted an exclusive screening of the documentary "20 Days in Mariupol" in Graz. The event was held at the KIZ Royal cinema.
